Drum lessons

Ik geef les bij Koel Productions op maandag, en Drumlessen aan het IJ op dinsdag.
Het maakt niet uit hoe oud je bent, welke stijl je graag speelt of wat je niveau is, ik help je graag een betere drummer te worden!
Het allerbelangrijkst dat ik wil overbrengen is hoe ontzettend leuk het is om muziek te maken.

Muziek kan vergeleken worden met een taal op vele manieren, het is bijvoorbeeld een effectieve manier om emoties over te brengen. Muziek ook heeft heel veel kracht: alleen al door het luisteren van muziek kun je mensen en jezelf van alles laten voelen, soms krijg je er zelfs kippenvel van. De nadruk ligt in het lesprogramma vooral op het leren wat muziek maken nou eigenlijk inhoudt.

Door middel van nummers die jíj kiest en de nodige technische uitleg, is het doel om het drumstel te gebruiken om je eigen verhaal te vertellen. Dat verhaal mag ook zijn dat je vindt dat school je teveel huiswerk oplegt en je daardoor te weinig achter het drumstel kan zitten.

Twee keer per jaar worden er hoge kwaliteit opnames gemaakt, zowel beeld als geluid. Deze kun je gebruiken voor je social media, of om aan je familie te laten zien. Daarnaast is spelen met andere muzikanten ook een belangrijk onderdeel.

The most important thing I want to convey in my lessons, is to enjoy playing music.

Music can be compared to a language in a lot of ways. It’s an effective tool to convey emotions and is often used to emphasize a story or feelings. You’ll probably recognize that listening to music can often make you feel different kinds of emotions. It can even give you goosebumps.

Using your favorite songs, I want to teach you what making music is really all about. I want to teach you to tell your own story and make your own decisions within your playing.

There will be a high quality video and sound recording twice a year, free to share on social media or just to show to your friends and family.
Next to that there is also a emphasis on playing together with other musicians.
